Free Pascal is an advanced and reliable program that targets various process architectures including SPARC, Intel x86, PowerPC64 and Power PC. I got hold of this one because it is widely popular and also the reviews are mostly positive. I noticed that simplicity defines this program. Its user interface is basic and console based which is a common feature of old compliers. Some may consider it a downside but not for advanced programmers although such feature may pose visual issues for novice users. What I like about this program is that it allows me to create new projects and the option to use files mixed from Pascal C and C. At the same time, it allows me to make projects which can produce line command tools. Overall, this program is a good option in building applications. It features rich IDE and mostly caters to professional programmers. If you are a beginner, you can utilize the high quality documentation to your advantage.
- The installation process is a breeze
